I’m Almost Ready

Today hasn’t been a bad day for the updating of my DeathBringers scriptwriting project. I got a lot accomplished today. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as much as I was hoping that it would be. Why didn’t I get more written today on this project? What is the usual reason why? That’s right, it’s because of what my brother and I needed to accomplish today.

I’m not surprised that my brother and I had some things we needed to get done today. I knew about a couple of them, but not all of them. If I had known that, I would have gotten up earlier today than I did. That may not have mattered anyway unless I got up very early this morning.

It wasn’t just what my brother and I had to accomplish today. What my brother and I needed to accomplish today also took us longer than I thought it would to finish. As a result, my brother and I didn’t get finished with what we needed to do until the middle of the afternoon. I only had about three hours to work on this project today.

I haven’t updated the timelines for these Parts and Episodes for these Parts and Episodes yet, but I have finished updating my spreadsheet for this project. I’ve also started working on my Act Breakdown documents for my DeathBringers scriptwriting project.

The Episode Act Breakdowns, Story Outlines, and Scene Outlines for the first four episodes of this anthology television series are still the same. All I needed to do was update them to the second format that I’m using now, where the same character begins each Part or Episode, and they also end that Part or Episode.

I also had some problems updating the four-part mini-series for this project. After all, four storylines are happening in each Part instead of three that are in each Episode. It wasn’t easy to do, but it wasn’t that hard either. All I needed to do was make it lopsided a little bit.

What do I mean by lopsided? It means that the first two characters’ storylines opened each Part. They also ended each Part, but in a reverse manner, so that the one character can open and close each Part. The other two characters’ storylines only have one Act that they open and close for each Part, instead of the two for the other two characters.

That’s why I didn’t get more written today on this project. It took me longer than it should have to update these documents for this television series project. Unfortunately, that’s all that I’m probably going to be able to accomplish on this project this week. After all, tomorrow I’m returning to work.

It will be Monday at the earliest that I will be returning to this project, if I can return to it then. After all, Sunday is the first day of June. That means at least one Short Short will be prompted within the next three days. It should be as early as Sunday because they like to post them on the weekend, but that doesn’t mean they will next month.
