Something, I Saw Her Standing There
Something about him made her smile. His looks ,his smile.
It was the 60's. She was wearing a mini skirt and flowers-
in her hair. Long blonde hair, wire glasses and she looked-
like Peggy Lipton. Did he notice her standing there? Of course.
She turned away and said something to her friend. She giggled.
It was a dance. The band started to play and the young man asked-
her to dance. She smiled. They held hands and went out on the dance-
floor. They danced so well together. She was wearing Yardley Lipstick.
A lavender shade it was. He whispered something in her ear.
He asked her to dance all the dances with him this night. She
said she would. He held her tight and they danced. Her white go go-
boots gave her traction to dance better. The same with him.
He was wearing Beatle Boots and the Beatle hair cut. The 60's.
Love and peace. Something about that era. He had saw her standing
there and they said something back and forth to each other. This was-
the start of a new romance without a doubt. Something good.
To live back in the 60's again. To see him standing there or seeing-
her standing there. Dancing. The romance thing. Something about this
era. To go back in time and be standing there and be asked to dance.
Something good. Something interesting. The Beatles. We miss you.
