Read and Dream

When I read, I dream
Of castles in the sky
I fly away to worlds unknown
Stretching far and wide.

When I read, I dream
Of leaders wise and strong
Who rid us all of pain and strife
Righting every wrong.

When I read, I dream
Of life where faith holds out.
No matter what we must go through
We never have to doubt,

For happy endings are assured
Despite the deepest woods;
I'll tread dark and winding paths
For beauty, truth and good.
