Don't Let Me Down, And I Love Her,All My Loving

Sister Madeleine was a Novice. She was supposed to take her final vows in two months. It was three years ago that she had become a Nun. She was a instructor. She taught English and Drama. She went to college early in her Senior Year and had a head start. She had been raised in a strict Catholic Home. Her brothers were Priests at a Notre Dame. Madeleine was a convent in the country next to some big farms. Her sister Paula married a rich man and lived by Martha's Vineyard.

Madeleine loved the man Jamison who lived next door. They were in love. He decided to join the Army! He let her down. She had told him not to let her down. He did. He joined the Army and she became a Nun. It was three years later and now Jamison was home. She had two hours to herself and she walked past Jamison"s father's farm. He was home! She saw him. He was standing by the field. They looked at each other. They ran into each other's arms.

" I miss you. I love you. I am sorry I left. Why did you become a Nun?"

"Me? You joined the Army. I couldn't stay with my parents. I became a Nun. You told me you would be gone for four years. It is three years and you are home."

"Madeleine. I was in Germany. I have a year left and I am going to be living in a house near by and I am going to be an Army Recruiter. I am going to be manager of the Co-op also . All I thought about was you. I want to give you all my loving. I want to marry you."

Madeleine had dreamed about this moment. She was going to be a Nun. She hadn't taken her final vows. She started to cry.

"You left. We didn't say goodbye. We didn't promise to write each other or anything. I thought I wanted to be a Nun. I want you and always have. I haven't taken my final vows. It isn't too late. I love you so much. I will marry you." Jamison and Madeleine kissed.

Jamison thought he was so lucky. And I love her. Jamison smiled. Love songs. Thank you, Beatles.

Madeleine didn't take her final vows to be a Nun. She married Jamison. She never looked back. She felt God understood and she and Jamison got their second chance. They were happy.
