If someone has a mind to listen, let him listen...and hear what is being said. Don't just nod and agree and then go about your business, but pay attention! That is what I get out of this.

People are enjoying their vacations, at least I hope so. Being on the lake can be fun, but also scary. I've always had a fear of drowning in a lake, as I cannot see the bottom or what is in there. So those who are on the lake need to be careful, and not get too cocky in their antics. Prayer for God's grace and mercy on them.

Pride can go before a fall; it is better to be humble and have someone else lift you up. Proverbs 16:18.
