Today and Four Today

It was actually late yesterday evening before I started working on my second Short Story for this month. After all, it didn’t take me too long to finish writing my WDC Short Story for this month. I thought that I had three Sections/Parts to write before I finished writing my first Short Story for this month, but it wasn’t that many.

I only had one Part/Section that I needed to rewrite. The other two, I only needed to update a little bit. As a result, it only took me about two hours before I could finish writing this WDC Short Story. That meant that I had about nine hours to start working on my second Short Story for this month.

Usually, I would have used part of that time setting up my second Short Story, but I already had that done before I went to work early Saturday evening at six PM WDC time. What does that mean for this Short Story? It means that I could start writing this Short Story after I finished writing the WDC Short Story for this month.

I only really had about eight hours during my twelve-hour shift yesterday evening and early this morning to work on this second Short Story. Why is it about eight hours now instead of nine hours? It’s eight now because I had some trouble starting this Short Story. I knew what I wanted to write, but I wasn’t sure how to write it.

Eight hours of writing time versus the first four Sections/Parts equals about two hours for every Part/Section. Even with the slowdown because I didn’t know how to write these Sections/Parts, that’s good writing. At least it is to me. Why did I get so many Parts/Sections written in those eight hours? I can’t answer that question because I don’t know how.

All that I know is that once I started writing, I couldn’t stop except for the slowdowns until I finished writing whatever Section/Part I was working on at that time. The same is true for the number of Parts/Sections that I got written today. After all, I also got another four Sections/Parts written today.

That means I only have two more Parts/Sections to write before I finish writing my second Short Story for this month. I shouldn’t have any problems doing that, no matter what my brother and I need to do tomorrow. My brother and I don’t have too much we need to get done tomorrow, but I’m sure we will have a few things we need to do. We always do.

I could have created my WDC Short Story today before I continued working on my second Short Story for this month, but I decided not to do that. I was on a roll from my twelve-hour shift at work, and I didn’t want to stop that roll. Of course, I only thought that I would be getting three of these Seconds/Parts written today.

Maybe, I would have gotten three Parts/Sections written today if I had gotten lucky. I didn’t expect to also get the fourth one done today. I’m happy that I did. After all, that means I only have two Sections/Parts left to write before I finish writing this second Short Story. What will I do after I finish writing this second Short Story?

It means that I will also be creating them for WDC tomorrow. Usually, this early in the month, I would be creating a Shameless Plug Page and a Please Review Page for at least one of these short stories, but I’m not going to do that this month. After all, I need to delete some short stories in these pages before I can post any more of these pages.
