Day 31 Alamogordo, New Mexico

We took the Coach and are going to New Mexico. We see the sights along the way. The Oscar Meyer Mobile. A giant hotdog. A stagecoach on top of giant rocks. I saw one like that out west years ago. I hope it doesn't fall. We do our usual. Playing cards, reading and I start singing Point Me In The Direction Of Albuquerque. Thank you, David Cassidy. We go to our hotel rooms. These rooms are blue and some are brown. We unpack.

We take a taxi and go to the White Dunes. I mean they look like snow. Move over! I am coming through. StephBee Sung'manitu Witchy Woman Jellyfish WakeUpAndLive AmyJo-home sweet home and me run and then we get our sleds and are on our sleds and dive in the white sands. I get a mouthful of sand. It doesn't taste too well. I rinse my mouth with water. We roll in the sand because we fell off our sleds. Good things we are wearing old clothes. We get done and brush ourselves off.

We go visit a space museum. We see a rocket ship. We get to go to go the Mars display. It is dark and we seem to be walking on Mars. It is all red and chilly. It is dark. We start singing I'm a Starman. We check out the hall of fame of astronauts. Grissom. Young. I saw them in person. True story. I was in First Grade in Maryland and my father was in the Air Force but had the day off and came to school with Mom to pick me up. The principal was old and said she wasn't going to let Mom take me. Mom told her they wouldn't like it if Dad had to come in. The principal let me go so I could see the astronauts. It was nice. Back to the museum. John Glenn standing next to the moon along with Neil Armstrong. They were mannequins. I found some moon rocks. WakeUpAndLive StephBee Sung'manitu Jellyfish AmyJo-home sweet home Witchy Woman and me picked them up and I thought I heard the Star Wars Theme playing out of the one rock. A guard told us to put them down. We did. The one moon rock fell off the shelf on the guard's foot. Time to go somewhere else. There were pictures of all the space ship flights and some pieces of the challenger. Sad. There is old space equipment. It is neat.

We go back to the hotel room and hit the casinos. I decide to go to my room and watch Celtic Music videos. I love Irish and Celtic music. Tomorrow, we will have another adventure.
