A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
A Little More Than an Hour at the Most Normally, I would be switching Blogs and writing what I did today regarding what I got accomplished with my latest WDC Short Story, but I haven’t done that because of the title for this blog entry. It has been a typical Monday. As a result, I only had about an hour to an hour and a half to work on my latest WDC Short Story for this month. Since I knew I would have the chance to work on that today, I decided to write about what I have done so far with my latest scriptwriting project, a movie I’m now calling ‘The Lives of Billia and Helleni.’ I may have gotten one more Section/Part with my latest WDC Short Story, but there was a good chance I would have even got that much written today. So, I decided to update everyone interested in what I accomplished this weekend and today with my latest scriptwriting project. Yesterday, during my twelve-hour shift at work, I got one hundred and seventy-five sentences written for the Scene Outline for this project. Unfortunately, I didn’t like what I accomplished yesterday at work, especially the last twenty-five sentences, aka the Teaser Act Two. I figured I would have a problem with this Act, Act Five, and Act Six because of their storylines, but I didn’t expect it to be that bad. I also didn’t expect the first half of this movie to be as complicated as it was, but it was. As a result, I didn’t like the way it turned out. One of those dislikes was the number of age-related introductions that I had for Acts three to the Tag Act Two. These Acts had three or four scenes that introduced new characters because of their ages. What does that mean? It means that these nine Acts are decade-related. It’s not just one day, week, or a few months within these Acts; it’s on a yearly basis. That means three or four different ages will be represented in these years. I know that won’t matter to the Actors and Actresses who play these characters, but it does matter to me. The Teaser Act One, Act One, and Act Two are more normal Acts. After all, they represent a few days, weeks, or months in this movie, but the rest of the Acts are decade-related. I know that all this doesn’t matter because this movie will be Earthenized like all my other Science Fiction projects. What do I mean when I write Earthenized? It means I know that whatever Science Fiction scriptwriting project I write and create, it will be converted into stories related to Earth. Whether it’s about Earth itself, Earth spaceships, Earth colonization, etc., it will be Earth-related. Speaking of Earthenizing, that’s another reason why I need to update this movie. The storylines will be the same. It’s how I represent them that I will be updating. That updation will be Earthenizing it. I prefer to use terminology related to whatever Science Fiction story I am writing, but I guess I’m not allowed to do that. Instead of Young Ones, I will be using words like children, tweens, and teens. The same goes for siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, etc. Most planets, spaceships, and civilizations in whatever form don’t like titles like these. They address them by their names and not their titles. That’s also something I will change starting with this movie. |
