| Assignment #9 "Oct. 10 - "Antagonist Profile:" "Character: Antagonist Profile" Draft a profile of the antagonist(s) you identified in the "Premise" assignment. If your antagonist is a situation rather than a person, choose another minor (but significant) character to profile. I've been stepped around, treated weird, which is a lot for me to say given my Court Noble parents of a rich lineage. All I wanted in my life was to become a Historian and inherit my family home, so I can just have my library all to myself. Instead, I have to follow around the Nanny and the children and help be more of a parent than my parents could be bothered to be. Do I sound bitter? Maybe I am. Maybe more so once I realized that I know the family secret. I'm a demi-goddess, the daughter of Onteus, the usurped God of Vala, named after the wife who betrayed him. I don't know yet what I'm angry about. I just wanted to be proud to be a de Lit and the weight of the name and the history behind it. I wanted to understand the world I was born into. That's it. That's all. Now I realize that I'm not a de Lit, this house, this library aren't mine and the world I was born into isn't mine either. I don't know who I am or what I am. There's so much to that world that I don't understand. That no one understands because you have to be dead to go there, unless you're a god. Does a demigoddess carry the same protections? If so, do I have a Vala form? I don't know what to do or if I should confront my parents. Would they even care? Probably only so far as it would pertain to the other nobility and the Royal family finding out. I could make comments about my parents and the King and where one ends and another begins, but I don't want to commit heresy. There are some problems that need to be figured out. I need to confront my parents and then...find a way to commune with my father. I'm surprised my mother knew how. Communing with Gods became outdated years ago. Mostly because the Gods chose to move away with communing with regular people and regular people were finding successes without their help. Althal Kingdom was an incredibly successful kingdom, one of the most on the whole continent. It didn't help that being located on the northern coast, they had the warm serene weather, large beautiful beaches, and warm waters. If it wasn't from the mines, it was the tourism that made the Althal Kingdom's economy soar. It's a good thing that I love to read and research. Also a good thing that I happen to have a personal library that a certain family member probably used to find the answer as well. |
