I expect Lilly Lopez to keep Ryan in her locker while she attends school, and to take him home with her every afternoon.” Page 3: 3 panels ***************** Panel One: (wide shot) Lilly: “Why was I chosen to be his protector? I’m really bossy and controlling, and as far as I know, I have no redeeming qualities! I would make a horrible leader!” Panel Two: (wide shot) Shelly: “Those are the qualities Ryan is looking for. I was the bossiest 7th grader last year, that’s why Demi, the 8th grader who owned him last year, chose me to give him to. Now I’m choosing you for the same reasons.” Panel Three: (wide shot) Caption: Sally and Dolores high fived each other… Page 4: 3 panels ***************** Panel One: (wide shot) Ms. Ricardo: “Lilly, you’re probably too young to understand the dynamics of all of this right now, but you’ll understand when you’re a lot older.” Panel Two: (wide shot) Lilly: “I’d like to know why he doesn’t do this at a high school, so he can be owned for more than one year by any one girl.” Panel Three: (wide shot) Miss Ricardo: “Ryan is a pervert who likes younger girls, high schoolers are too old for him. The government was willing to jump through whatever hoops he asks them to in exchange for his technology, and we have no choice but to accommodate him! Besides, he’s immortal and doesn’t age, so he can do this for decades.” Page 5: 3 panels ****************** Panel One: (wide shot) Caption: When Lilly takes Ryan home, she shows him to her parents and older sister Lacey, who attends an engineering college… Lilly: “Look what my principal gave me!” Panel Two: (wide shot) [Lilly stands by while Lacey questions Ryan] Caption: After Lilly briefed her family on the situation with Ryan, Lacey questioned Ryan about the technology he gave to the government. Ryan: “I gave them the schematics for inertia dampeners. They bend time, allowing momentum to be dissipated faster than normal, so the pilot only experiences one G of acceleration or deceleration.” Panel Three: (wide shot) Ryan: “I also gave them the formula for an alloy composed mainly of aluminum that’s twenty times stronger than carbon steel, making it ideal for aircraft frames and space vessels.” Page 6: 3 panels ****************** Panel One: (wide shot) Lacey: “What else?” Ryan: “A heat shield, as well as an anti-matter propulsion system that allows a space craft to travel at ten percent of light speed.” Panel Two: Ryan: “With Halloween approaching, I think it’s a good idea for Lilly to get a slutty costume and take me with her to the school Halloween dance.” Panel Three: Lacey: “You’re a perv, and that there is zero chance their parents will let Lilly dress in a sexy costume. Since it is Friday, what if I take you back to my dorm and attend a college party with me and my female friends?” Ryan: “I agree.” Page 7: 6 panels ***************** Panel One: (wide shot) Caption: At the party at a sorority at the engineering college, all of the women are dressed in sexy costumes. I’ve been to a hundred alternate realities, and this is how I chose to retire.” Page 10: 5 panels ******************* Panel One: (wide shot) Caption: Monday morning, Lilly once again has Ryan and takes him to school with her… Panel Two: Caption: Her two best friends greeted her.
