A Nice Surprise

I'm just on my coffee break at work,
Yesterday(Wednesday) was a quiet day at work but a nice surprise awaited me when I finished,
Lisa was waiting for me to take me for a pub meal,
It was basically her way of apologising for acting the way she had been,

It was nice I was being taken out but I looked at Alessia and Catherine and they looked sad,
After the Christmas period they were struggling to get back into the swing of things,
I couldn't walk away with Lisa and let them go home,
"Come on girls I'll give you some money and you can join us",

We all had a lovely bar meal,
We sat chatting and a few drinks were consumed,
The main thing I was happy about was Alessia and Catherine were bubbly and joyful,
This little treat might have been just what was needed for the girls,

Anyway no rest for the wicked,
My breaks over.
