Creating and Posting Again

I just finished creating and posting my latest Short Story. It should have been done earlier, though. At least the creating part of it. After all, I started creating it late this afternoon, but I had to interrupt it before I finished it. I tried to save it only for my eyes so that I could finish it this evening, but something went wrong.

What went wrong, I don’t know. All that I know is that I had to create it from the beginning. I just finished doing that about fifteen minutes ago. Right after I finished creating my latest Short Story, I posted it to this contest. Of course, I could have waited until toward the end of the month, but why wait and take the chance of not posting it?

If I had waited until the end of this month, I may have forgotten to post it to this contest. It hasn’t happened before that I know of, but I know I have come close to forgetting to post it to a contest. Besides, the only reason to prolong this posting is to create a ‘Shameless Plug Page’ and a ‘Please Review Page,’ but I’m not allowed to do that.

That’s enough of what happened this afternoon and this evening. Now it’s time to update what led up to this creation and posting. I only needed five Sections/Parts to finish writing my latest Short Story, and I had about twelve hours to accomplish this writing while at work early yesterday evening and early this morning.

Unfortunately, it took me almost my whole twelve-hour shift to finish writing these five Parts/Sections. It should have only taken about forty-five minutes, an hour and a half, or two hours to finish writing each of these Sections/Parts, and it did. That’s not why I barely got this Short Story written while at work yesterday evening and this morning.

Why did I barely get this Short Story finished early yesterday evening and early this morning? It’s because of where I work. It usually isn’t too busy on an early Sunday evening and an early Monday morning, but yesterday evening and early this morning it was. That’s why it took me so long to write these Parts/Sections to finish this Short Story.

Instead of about twelve hours to work on this Short Story, I only had about ten hours to do it because of my work responsibilities. Ten hours is plenty of time to write five Sections/parts. After all, that equals about two hours for every Part/Section. Unfortunately, that’s how much time it took me to write these Sections/Parts.

All that matters is that I finished writing this Short Story. That’s not all that I accomplished today. I also accomplished creating and posting this Short Story. It’s true, I did have some problems creating and posting this Short Story, but I still had the time to do it all, and that’s all that matters. At least it does so far.

What does that me for my writing process? It means that this is my last post for my blog, ‘Other Than Scriptwriting,’ for this month. Tomorrow, I will be returning to my scriptwriting projects, aka my ‘Skinless’ scriptwriting project. I’m ready to start working on this project. At least I think that I am. If it’s like my ‘The Final Ritual of Hummannan,’ I may not be ready.
