HI.

Weather here is horrid. below 0 for several weeks. wind chills often 10 or 11 below 0. Last year someone put rats in our house. K says they were trying to stop us from using corn to heat our house. Did not work. Still heating with corn.

However, we are experiencing lots of problems. Rats tore out a lot of the insulation last year. So now we have experienced loss of water for a couple days. And colder temps in the house than normal. Needless to say, I have not been cooking or cleaning as much and so am reading to keep my mind busy and don't have the screaming mimes too often. Temps in house running from 47 to 57 depending on the day and weather. Too cold for me to type well or think well, I guess. We have radiant heaters in a couple rooms which are the only rooms I want to be in most of the time.

One book that was amusing," Don't Ever Get Old " by By Daniel Friedman. It is a series of two stories about a retired policeman and crime. Lots of laughs.

Not going to stay here long today we just got the water back to washing machine and am catching up on washing clothes. I am grateful to all well wishes, for my birthday. Kept me motivated thinking there was warmer weather out there somewhere.

Don't forget Spring is on its way.
