Somehow, I Missed another Blogging day

This is It for About a Week

I finally got the new WDC prompt for this month, and it’s not a prompt that I’m too familiar with. A lot of people may disagree with that. They think prompts like this are a part of the Science Fiction family, but they aren’t. Gothic is a closer relationship to Horror and Fantasy, but most also consider it to be relations to Science Fiction.

Unfortunately, I didn’t find out about this prompt until about eight hours into my second twelve-hour shift earlier this morning. That gave me some time to think about this WDC Short Story, but that’s all I could do was think about it until I got off work this morning. Thinking about it didn’t affect what I have been working on this weekend at work.

This weekend, I have been updating my timelines for my six scriptwriting projects. It hasn’t been easy to do these updates as I thought that it would. Unfortunately, I still haven’t gotten them all done. I still have eighteen more Acts and three more scriptwriting projects before I finish these timeline updates. There’s one slight problem, though.

I’m not going to be able to continue to work on these timelines and scriptwriting projects for about a week. That’s why the blog title for today is what it is. I haven’t given up on these six projects. I’m just postponing them for about a week to work on the WDC Short Story for this month. Once I get that written, I will return to these timelines.

Hopefully, I can get this WDC Short Story finished by this Friday, aka the end of this week. Unfortunately, I may not be able to do that because my brother and I have started the process of moving into our new place. I may not have too much time to devote to my writing this month. Hopefully, it won’t be as bad as I think that it’s going to be.

I could have turned this blog entry into a combination of two blog entries or a combination of both of my blogs. After all, I have been writing about both my scriptwriting projects and my WDC Short Story for this month. I’m not going to do that for several reasons. The main reason is that I haven’t gotten too far on my WDC Short Story for this month.

Because of working all night, I needed to get some sleep today before my brother and I could do what we needed to get done today. That’s not unusual. I normally have to do that on a Monday. What makes it special today is that we are moving into a new place this month. As a result, I only had a few hours today to work on my WDC Short Story for this month.

With only a couple of hours to work on this WDC Short Story today, compared to the second twelve-hour shift I worked this past weekend, I decided not to write two individual blog entries today. If I had about four to six hours today to work on my WDC Short Story for this month, I probably would have combined this blog entry into both my blogs.

I could have also had two blog entries today. One for my ‘Only My Scriptwriting’ blog, and one for my ‘Other Than Scriptwriting’ blog. Since most of my writing time over the last twenty-hour hours has been related to my scriptwriting projects, I decided to write only this one blog entry today. Unfortunately, it will be my last one for about a week.
