Only About an Hour Today

Unfortunately, I was right about how much time I had to devote to my WDC Short Story for this month. I only had about an hour to work on it. It usually takes me about forty-five minutes to an hour to write a Section/Part for these short stories. Unfortunately, it took me almost an hour to write this Part/Section.

That means I only have nine more Sections/Parts left to write before I’m finished writing this WDC Short Story. I know that I couldn’t get nine Parts/Sections written in two days. After all, that’s four or five Sections/Parts every day. I’m lucky if I get two or three Parts/Sections written in a day. Four or five are very unlikely.

Of course, if this were a typical month, I probably would already have about three or four Sections/Parts written for this WDC Short Story. If that were true this month, I would only have six or seven Parts/Sections left to write. It’s possible that I could get them done tomorrow and Friday. The only problem is that this isn’t a typical month.

This month isn’t typical for several reasons. One reason why is that I only got one Section/Part written today. Another reason why is that I only got about four or five hours of sleep last night. The main reason why I only got one Part/Section written today is that I only had about an hour to work on this WDC Short Story today.

The main reason why I didn’t get more Sections/Parts written for this WDC Short Story today is that my brother and I are moving to a new place this month. We didn’t have a lot to do getting ready for this move, but we did have some things we needed to do. Unfortunately, it took us most of today to accomplish it. As a result, only one Part/Section today.

Tomorrow, we were planning on renting a van and taking several loads of the smaller stuff we have over to our new place. My brother and I still plan on doing that, but we will be doing it in our car. We are going to rent the van for Friday. Whichever way we do this, I probably won’t have too much time to devote to this WDC Short Story.

No matter how I look at this, I’m not going to be done with this WDC Short Story by the end of this week. I may be lucky if I get it done during my first twelve-hour shift at work this weekend. A lot of if I can finish this WDC Story Story during my first shift this weekend, which depends on how many Sections/Parts I get done tomorrow and Friday.

Hopefully, I can get one or two Parts/Sections written tomorrow and one or two more written on Friday, but I’m not going to count on that until it happens. After all, the way things are looking for my brother and me over the next two days, I may be lucky if I can get one written over the next two days. Of course, I’m hoping I’m wrong about that.
