One more day, oh Lord I need it
Fresh start again because I bungled the last one
Another way to say “help me out”
Another reason to keep on marching. Stay beside me as You always do,
Keeping my anxious thoughts at bay.
I can never pay back debts of all my mistakes
Weighing my soul down every night.
Yet You are with me, forgiving, saving, loving,
Present in sunrise, sunset, trees,
Spirit's whispered secrets in the wind.
