Because of us moving to a new place this month, my brother and I have been very busy today. I didn’t have too much time today to work on my latest WDC Short Story for this month.
Unfortunately, I only had about another hour today to work on it. That’s why I only got one more Section/Part written for this WDC Short Story.

That means I still have eight more Parts/Sections left to write before I finish writing this WDC Short Story. It also means that I won’t be getting this WDC Short Story finished by the end of this week, aka tomorrow. Hopefully, I can get more than one Section/Part written tomorrow, but I’m not going to count on that happening until it does.

I do have some good news. My brother and I aren’t renting a van tomorrow. We will be taking a few loads over to our new place tomorrow, but we will be doing it in our car. What does that mean for this WDC Short Story? Hopefully, it means that I will get at least one more Part/Section written for my latest WDC Short Story tomorrow.

Why aren’t we renting a van tomorrow as we planned on doing? It’s because of my work. I had to take a weekend off from work a few weeks ago because of being sick. It is like my former employer; I’m not allowed to get sick. No matter how sick I am, I have to work. If I don’t, I don’t get paid for that time I have to take off because I’m sick.

I’m not sure if I was ever written up because of being sick with my former employer, but I was with my current employer. As far as I know, I was never written up because of it. I was with my current employer. So, not only didn’t I get paid this week for being sick, but I was written up for it. That’s why we can’t rent a van this week.

I have been sick numerous times, and I still went to work no matter how I felt. Now, I know that I can’t take any time off from work because of how sick I am. Even if I’m on my deathbed, my current employer will expect me to go to work. I thought my former employer was a terrible employer, but now it’s looking like this one is even worse.

What does all this ranting and raving have to do with my latest Short Story? It means that I still have eight Sections/Parts to write before I finish writing this Short Story. Unfortunately, it also means that I won’t get this WDC Short Story done by tomorrow. If I’m lucky, I may get this Short Story done by Saturday evening/Sunday morning.

A lot depends on whether I can finish this WDC Short Story during my first twelve-hour shift this weekend that starts at six PM WDC time on Saturday and ends at six AM WDC time on Sunday morning, based on the number of Parts/Sections of this WDC Short Story that I get written tomorrow. The more I get written tomorrow, the better.

It’s true, the more Sections/Parts of this WDC Short Story that I get written tomorrow, the better chance I have of getting this WDC Short Story finished during my first twelve-hour shift this weekend, but it doesn’t really matter. Even if I have eight Parts/Sections left to write this weekend, I should get it during this first twelve-hour shift.
