Hurricane Fears? [08-05-01]

Well, I knew it would happen. The Tropical Storm "Barry" is almost at the minimum hurricane speeds, and it's heading right for this town. However, I am not afraid like some of the people around here.

The highways are completely backed up, the stores are full of people with 2 or 3 shopping carts full, and there are lots of people who are in a panic.

I am a man who is not afraid of things like Hurricanes, or nature. I have been through pretty much everything-- blizzards, tornados, floods etc etc-- and nature just doesn't scare me. I'm actually looking forward to this. I can then say I was in a hurricane =)

Anyway, I wanted to write this down. I will also be writing the expirence after it's all over, so I guess people who like reading about my life can look forward to that. By the way.. I am not a death-tempting person. I am, however, a very logical person. I take things as I see it, analyze it, and then decide. If I felt my life was in danger from this, I wouldn't stick around to see it out. If people want to be in a panic and flee even when they don't have to, that's fine. Every man to his own.

Oh..and if you wanna know what scares me: Spiders, Heights, Disease/Viruses (the ones they can't cure), and dying alone! That's about it.
