Thursday we played against Cedartown for the play-offs, and we won 36-6. They finally put me in! Being a girl football player you would probably think I don't get in at all, but if you do then you're wrong. Only slightly though, considering I've only gotten in two out of the seven games we've played. I'm one of the linemen/woman on the team and usually I play on defense at noseguard, but suprise, suprise they put me in on offense at guard. I blocked my guy and made a hole for the runner, and he got nine yards off of it. We scored while I was playing and we didn't even mean to. The coach wanted us to stay at 30 so we could still suprise Rome when we go there this coming up Thursday. For those of you who think I'm speaking in Greek, allow me to translate for you, a noseguard is the defensive lineperson who lines up in front of the offensive center, and a guard is the lineperson right next to the noseguard or center depending on if it's defense or offense. If you don't know, the center and noseguard are the people in the middle of the line. So Friday when I went to school I could tell everyone how good everyone did in the game.
