Thoughts...

They're invisible...they can't be measured...weighed...quailified...

Yet they're immortal...They travel through time and space.

Thoughts put down on paper or onto a video screen are called writing. What someone wrote 100 years ago...600 years ago...8,000 years ago still live today once the writing "code" has been deciphered.

Most thoughts are wasted..."Are you going to Barney's tonight?"..."I like yellow best."..."Are there any gay radishes?"...but some thoughts have POWER...able to "infect" other's minds...like viruses..."Freedom"..."Guilt"..."Love"..."Greed"

Thoughts are born in the mind but are made in the brain. I find it fascinating that thoughts are REAL chemical and electrical reactions and that our brains physically change with each thought we think. Doctors can "see" which parts of our brains we use when we preform different tasks.

All those thoughts that we judge are significant are "stored" or "remembered" to be accessed later...That's what dreaming is all about...The brain making sense of that day's experinces...What to keep...What's significant...What's rubbish. Brains never sleep...They're always working.

My brain has physically changed just by writing this...

and yours has changed by reading this.
