This is my book of poetry that I hope to eventually publish with photos. |
In the dank darkness of eternity, I move with the shadows ahead of me, I dance in the bitter pools of silence and hate, I scoff and laugh in the face of fate. But the embrace of the vampire tempts too far, And the pitiful pains leave too small a scar, If the darkness frightens you, close your eyes, If you feel trapped here, cut the ties. Beware, you tread in the horror of my dreams, Journey too far in and none will hear your screams. If you do not have a friend, you have an enemy, If you cannot breathe in here, do not run away from me. If you’re lost, you’re not alone, you’re with me, There is only pain to be discovered, that’s all there can be. The silence will drown you, do not struggle for air, The coldness will caress you, do not fight the fear. If you tremble upon the bed of thorns it will cause you more pain, If you seek redemption in the dark, the blood will fall like rain. I will not promise to wake you, I will not promise it will subside, If my smile seems evil and cold it is only because of what I hide. Touch me not, leave me be, leave me for I cannot see, Slip out quietly as you came in, free yourself from nightly sin. Daddy, Daddy help me please, if I stand I will fall to my knees, I cannot run nor hide nor play, just wait for night to fade away. For there is nothing, I am told, more passionate, Than the lover’s embrace, the moments lovers stole, Nothing more wonderful that you long to hate, Than a vampire’s touch upon your flesh, your soul. |
