I wonder what you are thinking
After getting my surprise
I just know it was worth it
Seeing happiness in your eyes

I don't want anything in return
I hope these words you heed
nless you want a hug
Now that's something that I need

I love to see your mouth smile
I hate to see your eyes misty
May you never cry again

I know I'm not a poet
I know I can barely rhyme
Just giving you a birthday wish
I hope it works this time
