Seriously?!

So very very clueless.

I forgot to mention that Tuesday last week CPI invited me to a party. I was at the Writer's Group, having just been at karate for two classes, and I get this weird call from the school. I look briefly at the display, silent the ring and drop it back in my bag. (Bad form to answer the phone while your stuff is being critiqued.)

When I do listen to it, there's this weird message:
It's CPI from --- (like I wouldn't know). I just wanted to let you know that on Saturday evening there's going to be a rooftop party in Denver at MGKs place and she said to invite all the karate girls and you being a girl who goes to karate qualify. So, please please please (three pleases - no shit) stop by. It would be wonderful to see you. I'll talk to you later. G'bye.

Riiiiiiiiiiiight. Like I'm going to go to a party at MGKs house? I'd rather slam my tongue in a car door.
