"You got it all wrong, my Venus!"

"I know what I saw! You had one eye on me and your other two on that two-eyed hussy! Now, get out!"

"But it's the Summer Solstice, today," Zerzees whined.

"Then be sure to grab your protective suit on your way out," Serenia huffed.

Zerzees continued whining and pleading.

The ball of anger nesting in the pit of Serenia's stomach grew heavier. "Out, out, out," she screamed. Then, shoved her companion's bulk down their pod's waste chute.

She gasped, and watched her husband in the window.

Her three eyes bulged as she stared at Zerzees melting beneath Triniton's two suns.
