Mr. Teddy Bear
Tears of agnoy stream down her face
free-flowing, not one sob
just a continous motion
without the slightest notion
that she's not such a disgrace.
She holds tight to her teddy bear
cuddling it in her arms oh so tight
not knowing when this dull ache shall go
she holds on for dear life - never to let go
letting the fabric absorb every single tear.
She closes her pretty blue eyes,
the fabric of her dear old teddy bear,
matted to her face because of her fear,
she'll never be enough
not for the others' eyes.
Teddy bear, you're the one
who I come to when I can't find
a way to slow down my tears
and no one willing to lend their ears
Won't you take away every single tear...
Mr. Teddy Bear?
