Priming the Pump

Last night I wrote the first completed piece since I stopped going to my creative writing class. If all goes well then I will post it by this weekend. At least I would have accomplished one goal. I wrote this new story when I should have been writing a paper for class that is due on Wednesday. My focus isn't really on my regular classes - it's mostly on writing. I am down to mere weeks before my bachelor's degree will be complete. I guess what I am doing right now is warming up to write that paper. Either that or I am avoiding it all together. That would be more my style. Hopefully, I will be able to focus and get this paper done.

I'm very excited to have written that story. I was worried that once I didn't have any deadlines to meet I would have a much harder time actually getting things done. At least now I know I am capable.

Update - Things are better at least for now at home. Communication has commenced at a slow pace but it has begun.
