I've noticed while reviewing Newbies, the Poetry Genre seems to Rule the Roost! While I love to review poetry, sometimes it gets rather monotonous. I thought, perhaps, I could challenge all of you poetry writers to try a new form of poetry in your writing so I am offering a list of insightful posts for you to visit. I have also included foums that host contests. In fact, I've created a poetry contest especially for Newbies that have become members from March 1 through the end of the contest. No matter which contest(s) you decide to enter, make sure you follow the instructions carefully. It's a great way to earn Gift Points and perhaps an awardicon to showcase next to your item. Such a pretty letter, it looks good and the topic was perfect. It is one rarely discussed but so important. Good choice. Thanks, Esprit! You are very sweet! Pretty in Black : I love all the color; what an attractive newsletter Some very helpful info this week... But you didn't mention pass-keys which can also be used to restrict access to just certain members. Something to consider writing about sometime in the future possibly. Keep up the nice work...Take care, Jamie Thank you for the nice comment! Yes, perhaps pass-keys would be another interesting topic to cover in a future newsletter. Supersonic-Hyper Writing Turbo : Hey, Cubby!! Thanks for including my forum:) You guys are the best:) You are so welcome! ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Last Month's Question Responses What have you discovered to be the biggest stumbling block as you write? bianca_b: My biggest stumbling block... language problems. Sometimes there is no proper translation possible for words I use in my native language. I have to bypass it in a way, but that has a negative effect on what I am writing. Bianca, I cannot imagine writing in another language! You do such an awesome job, but I'm sure it is not as easy as you make it appear. empresssun: My biggest stumbling block as a writer is not being able to get started! I toss around ideas in my head, but have trouble putting them on paper. Once I get started, it gets better. This sounds like a common problem! I think for myself, the hardest thing is finishing things off. Maybe we should get together! *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Have a wonderful May, everybody!
