SURRENDER TO HIM


[When the life is full of woes, lay them at His feet and surrender to Him]



When life is no longer a dream,
It has no happiness no gleam;

When days are full of drudgery old,
Nights are lonely and dark and cold;

When heart beats with a tinge of pain,
And breathing, itself, is a bane;

When memories can’t be dispelled,
Nor the heartache caused by them quelled;

When one is forsaken by all,
One’s own are when so full of gall;

When friends hit harder than the foes,
And cheers, even, add to the woes;

When life ends in a cul-de-sac,
From which there is no turning back;

When all is gone and hope is dim,
Then, man, you surrender to Him.
