In my humble opinion, there is a common thread, and most of the subjects creating much of the OUTRAGE among American citizens have their roots in our Federal, State, and local governments actions, or inactions, whichever the case may be.

Let me say this, I don't believe Americans are apathetic...

In regards to politicians (includes all Federal, State, and local civil servants):

"Never have so few done so much wrong to so many."

The majority of Americans are exhausted, we are overburdened, we are overtaxed, we are overcharged, and it appears we can't do a damn thing about it. This is not to say we are apathetic... WE just recognize a Democratic government gone FUBAR.
