Reviewing Items & Moral Judgments
When reviewing another writer's work, I try not to make moral judgments on the subject of the writing or the author. I think that when one reviews a work one needs to keep the review separate from moral judgments. The only exception to this would be if the author specifically states that he/she wants a comment on the morality of the piece of writing and wants that comment made public. Any comments about the morality of a piece should be put in a separate e-mail to the author him/her self and only if one can make that comment unoffensive.
