Beautiful Ribbon

two things have happened within the last minute.

first, my anklet broke, after staying put for almost four uneventful years.

five seconds later, i got a gorgeous and perfectly timed awardicon from one of my very favorite people on the site. it's up there in the corner, and it's my favorite shade of purple.

i'm going to do something i don't ever do in this journal, because i think it'll be more effective than struggling to figure out how best to phrase an appropriate thank you.

it's down there at the bottom, because i'm shy.
