SILENCE IS GOLDEN

[Sometimes it is better to be silent]


When ignorance is but bliss;
When the need is but a kiss;
When damage can’t be undone;
When the truth can’t be spoken;

When prosecutor is judge,
And against you has a grudge;
When your fault is loud and clear;
When the end of life is near;

When He asks why did you sin;
When the game is hard to win;
When the pain can’t be reduced;
When dark clouds can’t be diffused;

Then we must learn to give in
And silently bear and grin.
No use then speaking a word.
In silence, all is answered.
