fishscale flashes,
sunshine beaming.

Quiet moment
before blue pike splashes,
water glistening,
laughter dashes

quiet musings,
frowns and sadness.
Gone the memories,
replaced by gladness.

Quiet music
of quiet moments.
Quiet musing.
The quiet memories

of water flowing.

Note: I was writing a friend a note on a card with fishes on it and asked him whether he had gone fishing yet this summer. That brought back memories ... so I wrote this in Peoria, IL.
