Short story submission and synopsis trouble
I have submitted "Deserted Hideaway" to Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine. Now I guess time will tell as I wait for acceptance or rejection.
Writing a synopsis is harder than writing a novel. Trying to summarize a 250 some page manuscript into three or four pages and keeping it interesting enough to catch the eye of an agent or editor is rough. However, it's a job that must be finished. Ha, finished? It has to be started first.
