melony's cousin april found out today that she's having a girl, as opposed to a boy, which was what she was originally told. she's already got one girl, and now she's having another, by a different guy. her instinct, of course, was to let said guy know, thinking maybe he'd hug her and kiss her and be happy he was having a daughter. so she drove twenty miles to his place of work, a hospital, and presented him with the ultrasound, face aglow (or so i'm told), and his altogether lackluster response was, "you coulda called me over the phone to tell me that shit."

heartbreaking.

he's angry at her for giving him a girl. i told her he needs to retake high school biology. stupid fucker.
