Tritina
The Tritina is a ten- lined poem, divided over three tercets and a single line.
It is related to the sestina, as it uses three end words that are repeated in the poem. In the last line however all three the words are used.
It seems as a guideline pentameter or tetrameter is used.
The pattern looks like this:
A/B/C
C/A/B
B/C/A
A,B,C
My example:
Autumn is off-beat, it looks like summer
People smile, the world looks so nice today
As I see happy children go to school
Cycling home, just brought my son to school
Autumn colours to be seen in summer
I shall do some autumn cleaning today
The Sun shines, worries disappear today
People seem glad to drop their kids at school
Sun is soothing them - it feels like summer
