Boo hoo.
I feel like whining today, so consider yourself warned! If you don't want to continue reading, I won't be offended. After all, when was the last time you held a pity party for yourself and hundreds of people gladly showed up bearing many gifts and lots of food?

Several days ago I felt that familiar itch in the back of my throat indicating a cold. Oh, yea! But I've discovered a few years ago that when I tell people I'm getting sick, nine times out of ten, I don't get sick.

The next day, I went to work telling everyone. By lunchtime, I felt fine. It worked again! Woohoo!

That is until last night. The itch came back and is now downright painful. My nose is a bit stuffy, my head feels thick and congested, and I have no appetite (hard to believe, I know).

What's worse is I have a TGIO party with other local NaNo'ers tonight, and I'm seriously considering not going. I certainly don't want to get anyone else sick, but at the same time, I really want to go. Oh, what's a person to do?

I hate being sick, but then again, who in this world loves it?
