Catching Idle Butterflies

Shh!

I decided my blog needed a break from the serious today:

When I got home from Bible Study last night, Dave asked me, "So what did you learn?"

"To keep my mouth shut."

"What?"

I laughed and read from the scripture we're studying: "As you enter the house of God, keep your ears open and your mouth shut. It is evil to make mindless offerings to God." (Ecclesiastes 5:1)

I then went on to describe what else we talked about when Dave interrupted with, "But I thought you were supposed to keep your mouth shut."

"That's only in the house of God."

"But isn't God everywhere?" he asked.

"Yes, but this isn't the House of God. Besides, I didn't say I would always adhere to what I've learned!"
