THAT DOES IT!
         Remember folks: it's is a contraction for "it is" or "it has", as in "So it's written" (so it is written) and "it's arrived" (it has arrived). It is the only word that does not have a possessive form with an apostrophe. 
         I've already heard it from too many editors to not cringe every time I se it abused now. *sigh*
