Seasons
I received an email from my dad the other day, and I wanted to share part of what he wrote:

"Vanessa (his wife) and I have had to reprioritize our lives. We have been giving too much to our church and we were spending too much time there. We haven’t been spending enough time just listening for God. God was impressing on me to be like a tree. I know it sounds weird, but I have been trying to spend all my time in Spring (growing), Summer (producing fruit), and Fall (harvesting) with no time in Winter (resting). So I am entering a period of winter and I am truly looking forward to it. Does that make sense?"

Not only does it make sense, but God has been impressing upon me the same.

So don't be surprised if I don't update this blog until after the first of the year.

That being the case, I want to wish you and your family a joyful Christmas and New Year!
