Ewww!
I found one thing a person can do that will, without fail, in the end make you feel icky about yourself.

Go clothes shopping, and not just buying, but trying things on.

Is it me, or do all clothing stores buy used House of Mirror mirrors I talked about in an earlier blog? I know I can't be that wide! Can I?

Also, it seemed everything I tried on - even the larger sizes - assumed that my upper arms have a three inch diameter or less to the point I feared cutting off my circulation, and that each arm is four feet long. I'm not an Orangutan here people!

Going to different stores only confused my already cracked psyche. A medium shirt in one store seemed to be equal to a small in another, or a large in a third store.

And I'm not even going to get into pants here!

I finally had enough and huffed my way back to my car, sans new clothing.

But some good came out of this little adventure, aside from not spending any money. If ever I doubted I need to lose a few pounds, that's gone. And if ever I need to re-motivate myself to continue to shed those extra pounds, I'm going shopping, not to buy, but to torture myself in those mirrors!
