CURSE AND VERSE
CURSE AND VERSE

[Why hurl obscenities when sweet rebuke suffices?]

Rather than curse,
Better, write verse.

Curse brings bad name;
Verse is fair game.

Curse jars the ear;
But verse rings clear.

Curse is transient;
Verse permanent.

Curse merely taunts.
For long, verse haunts.
