This is my book of poetry that I hope to eventually publish with photos. |
Nothing, The days are frightening. The nights are dark, Where are you? Such false hope and empty lives, And hollow hearts all around. Nothing, Where are you? The lives I fight to hold, Let go of the friends, The songs no longer are heard, Nothing. Find the way all alone, And stop the dreams that always come, You can show me the way? Nothing. A light, a sound, a dream, Nothing. Filling the void and dancing the lie, Where are you? Among the deep night or shallow days, In the hidden truths and believed lies, A little shout or a bellowed whisper, Nothing. And I stand alone in the middle, Nothing. And I stand silent in the middle, Where are you? Does the sound of silence deafen? And are the lies so important? There can be no other way, Nothing. Time to see the black silence, And to hear the bells gold, Nothing, Where are you? I thought I saw you in the quiet, And heard you in the sunlight, Touched you in the emptiness, Nothing. You run from me through the rain, To me in the black night, Dance with me in the shade, Nothing. So I cannot worry any longer, I cannot die any quicker, Nothing. Where are you? Nothing, The dreams held the twisted truth, Locked away in the normal lies, Where are you? I need to see you in the softness, Hear you in the blackness, Feel you in the hollowness, Nothing. Not sure if you're talking and I'm not hearing, Nothing. Or if I'm listening and you're silent, Where are you? Right here beside you, Where I've been since the beginning, Because I love you, Where are you? |
