NO more humor... just more tragic, sad, sick, twisted goings ons - Sorry |
Looks like I'm off to a very slow start finding humorous stuff. And all of the sick and twisted stuff these days really isn't funny. This little endeavor is turning out to be another 2006 project that I'll abandon before I even get it off the ground, so to speak. So with this entry, I'm considering changing the title of this item to, "NOW, That's just NOT funny" Seems the public is just weary. Between governmental crimes and other truly serious criminal political shenanigans, and natural disasters there just isn't much to laugh or chuckle about now, is there? I made a New Year's Resolution not to Blog, write, or generally comment on or about political goings on, but as simple as that resolution appears on the surface - I'm failing miserably at "staying the course." Evidently, I'm too damn opinionated. Even one of my other New Year's Resolutions is proving impossible - Making Dough, Bread Dough. I love baking bread, because nothing smells or taste better than fresh baked bread. Seems like I forgot about the tragic fact both my husband and I are diabetics. Breads are basically carbohydrates; carbohydrates are like poison to a diabetic. Damn! The road to hell is truly paved with good intentions. Well, I’m going to visit my brother for the first time since hurricane Katrina wiped out all of the worldly possessions he had left after his wife just finished divorcing him. Both of my brother’s are now living in a FEMA trailers. Both of my brothers have horrible taste in women. While my brother’s wives may look good on the surface, underneath all that expensive beauty up keep beats hearts of pure evil. Actually, their probably both better off without their wives, even though national statistics say that married men live longer. Okay, I’m outta here… Sincerely, The Critic |
