well. the conversation itself went great, or as well as i'd expected given the subject matter.

and then, at the end, he kissed me a lot, but he wouldn't hook up with me, not at all. to prove it to himself, he said. that he was capable of that, of not. and because i'd used the word disrespect about a thousand times over the course of the conversation, and it made him uneasy to think of hooking up with me in the near wake of a disrespect talk. which i appreciate, but stilllllllllllllllllll. fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.
