I can always tell when I need to take a prayer break, my patience begins to short circuit and my thoughts begin replaying my worries. That is one of the advantages of working at home. Working in the public one has to be satisfied with coffee and lunch breaks, but prayer breaks are difficult to take. However, when working from home you can take a prayer or meditation break anytime you want. In addition, you do not have to worry about where you are going to say a prayer or meditate. Working in a business if one has a private office, then taking a meditation or prayer break is a little easier. One can tell a secretary to hold all calls for the next thirty minutes or so, but in most cases it is difficult, if not impossible, to take a that is not a coffee, lunch or power nap break. Maybe a time will come when it is acceptable for people in business to take prayer or meditation breaks which every the person calls feeding one’s spirit. There was a time when companies considered naps non-business activities. However, today many places encourage power nabs, because they help workers and encourage creativity. (3 Jalal 162 B.E.) |
