A little something about nothing

This Friday will make my 3rd anniversary with this job. For our anniversary's my boss takes us individually out to a nice lunch, we briefly talk about office issues, he hands over a bonus check & lets me know what my raise will be and we call it an afternoon. I like that!!

I just got a heads up from another person in the office, the one I was friends with and worked with at my last job, which is how I was recruited here. During my review portion of the lunch this time we will actually be discussing serious issues. The person in my "department"...there are only two of us...who was hired part-time on a temporary basis may be let go depending on how I respond to his questions.

She has been here for 2 years now and there are certain things she still doesn't get, but in her defense, she had no insurance background. I have also noticed this is just a job for her, where as I think of it as more than that and actually care about my work. This has caused some conflict as she is not consistent with her record keeping, which causes issues.

At the moment we are extremely slow and I know I could handle it on my own; however, during our busy months I am not so certain.

Such decisions to be made!!!
