Where I'm gonna die

When Dave and I decided to buy a house, I had a list of things I had to have: A brick house with a garage and a basement. Above all, it had to be in good shape. Dave and I are not improvers. A fixer-upper house would take us decades to get done, and I didn't want the bother.

I wanted all that because this would be the house I'm going to die in.

That's how much I despise moving. So all of you moving or about ready to, I feel for ya, I really do.

But that doesn't mean I will never pack and move stuff again. Nope, I worked from 7am - 9:30pm yesterday packing all of my stuff at work, because we're moving into a new building. Luckily we're moving only 4 blocks, and we did hire movers. They provided the boxes, we did the packing. Overall, fairly easy as moves go. So far. We packed last night, today and the rest of the weekend is moving, unpacking, learning the new computer and phone system . . . the real fun stuff!

That's why I'm doing this entry so early, and why you won't see me much until tonight. No internet access !

I hope I don't go through withdrawals!

I might do another entry tonight, because I have lots more news to share. I just don't have the time this morning.
