Notes: I have lived in Africa, and know first hand of the way some people in power tend to extort money from the masses in any way they can. The battle over oil is a constant over there, and with this, the leaders sweet talk the country into believing things are all right, when they stuff their pockets with funds that should rightfully go to their people. The widening gulf between rich and poor is unbelievable to say the least.
This poetry form was kinda fun, since the words used are from my mousepad, post office notice, phone card, CVS keychain, a Janet Jackson CD, bank notice, and a McDonald's cup found around my desktop.
