I AM A LIGHTSWITCH



Though I am just a lightswitch,
I’m real powerful.
If you don’t handle me well,
Results can be dreadful.

Treated tenderly I am
Just like your little slave.
As you wish accordingly
I shall at once behave.

If you say ‘light up’, then I
Will make all things shine well.
If you simply shut me off,
Then darkness I will spell.

But if on meddling with me,
With wet hands, you are bent,
I can throw you off your guard
By a shocking current.
